About
Bridging Scientific Rigor with Deep Human Insight

Optimising Life, Fulfilling Potential
The Journey
I am a Psychologist, Behavioural Scientist, and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru—a NAAC A++ institution. I transform high-level scientific research into practical, evidence-based tools that solve real-world problems and deliver measurable results for people committed to becoming their best.
My foundation in psychology was built at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, where I earned my PhD in Psychology. My doctoral research examined how people handle extreme stress and maintain quality of life under difficult circumstances. That work prepared me to help clients navigate complex human dynamics with clarity and compassion in high-stakes environments.
Alongside my university role, I maintain an independent consultancy practice with the university’s encouragement. My work is coaching and consulting—not clinical therapy—focused on performance, wellbeing, and sustainable growth.
A Proven Track Record
My career rests on a foundation of high-level academic performance, including the prestigious UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF). That dedication has produced 25+ peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognised journals. My work has been cited in research by Stanford University scholars. Selected publications appear in American Psychological Association–affiliated journals and are indexed in PubMed Central.
An Interdisciplinary Lens
I approach peak performance through a wide lens. Beyond Psychology, I hold an MBA in Marketing and a Diploma in Mental Health Counseling. This combination helps me understand the mechanics of high-stakes, goal-oriented behaviour without losing sight of mental wellbeing—so the pursuit of excellence leads to sustainable success, not burnout.
I integrate Western science and neuroscience with insights cultivated as a dedicated Vipassana meditator practising metta (loving-kindness) and compassionate attention. By blending modern psychology with Eastern contemplative wisdom, I offer a holistic strategy for growth: scientifically solid, inwardly grounded, and oriented toward breakthrough results with inner balance.

Three Pillars
My work is not merely a professional practice; it is the natural extension of the philosophy I live by. I operate at the intersection of three pillars that keep my contributions both rigorous and deeply human:
Growth — A relentless commitment to continuous striving: never settling for average, refining potential daily, and helping those I mentor do the same.
Research — Science as the primary tool for advancement. Growth is not accidental; it is built on empirical truth and scientific accuracy.
Metta — Loving-kindness as the grounding force. Both growth and inquiry are rooted in the intention to make life better—for the individual and for others.
How I Work Across Four Divisions
Research
I demystify research methodology, strip away unnecessary jargon, and make the process structured and engaging—so scholars complete quality work efficiently. I offer academic mentorship through the pressures of higher education with rigor and compassion, and guide thesis and publication strategy from structuring PhD or MSc research to publishing in strong journals—transforming anxiety into clear, achievable milestones.
Corporate Wellness & Workplace Psychology
I apply behavioural science to complex organisational challenges through compassionate inquiry—identifying the human variables that block progress and designing clear, data-backed solutions. The focus is sustainable excellence: optimising the mind for peak performance without sacrificing long-term wellbeing. I also support emotional intelligence and team dynamics so leaders manage stress more effectively and build high-functioning, resilient teams.
Sports & Performance Psychology
I help athletes develop the mental triggers to enter flow—“the zone”—consistently, so peak performance arrives when it matters. Through compassionate self-awareness (metta), I support mental resilience under high-pressure competition: composure, recovery from setbacks, and return to focus. Drawing on neuroscience and meditation, I provide tools for deep focus and discipline that reduce mental noise and unlock fuller potential.
Stress & Life Optimisation
Building on my doctoral work on extreme stress and quality of life, I help individuals regulate pressure, clarify priorities, and build sustainable habits for mental clarity and balance. The aim is practical life optimisation: evidence-based strategies that restore steadiness, strengthen attention, and support fulfilment alongside high performance.
